Amy Burbrink
Burbrink is working with INFB’s legal affairs team this summer as a law clerk.
A native of North Vernon, she is a second-year law student at Indiana University, Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. Her undergraduate degree is in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
During her internship, Burbrink will assist the legal team and the Indiana Ag Law Foundation with property rights and easement work as well as research and analyze political action committees.
She intends to pursue a career in agricultural law after graduation.
Previous to coming to INFB, Burbrink held internships at Dow AgroSciences and the Indiana State Poultry Association. While at Purdue, she was involved with Collegiate Farm Bureau and Purdue Ag Week.
Marissa Richardson
Marissa Richardson joined the public policy team for the summer as a policy development and local issues research intern. Richardson spent this past spring working as the INFB Statehouse intern. This summer, she will be researching policy issues important to INFB members and assisting with the policy development process.
Richardson is from LaGrange and is a senior at Purdue University majoring in agricultural economics. After college graduation, she hopes to pursue a career with an agricultural-related nonprofit in public policy or program development.
Prior to coming to INFB, Richardson interned with Purdue Extension and the Center for Commercial Agriculture.
Emily Marsh
Emily Marsh is working with INFB’s organizational development team this summer as the agriculture promotion and outreach intern. Originally from Middletown, she is a junior at Purdue University majoring in agricultural communications.
In her internship, Marsh will help with many different activities from the Ag in the Classroom, Young Farmer and Women’s Leadership programs.
Her long-term plans include working for an agricultural company where she can mix her strong passion for agriculture with her ease of communicating with people.
Marsh previously interned with National FFA.
Mallory Meyer
Meyer is working as the intern for INFB’s marketing team this summer.
She is from Columbus and is a senior at Purdue majoring in animal sciences with a minor in food and agribusiness management. She is involved with the Collegiate Farm Bureau at Purdue and is a Purdue Animal Science Ambassador.
Though she will spend the bulk of her time working on promotion and implementation of INFB’s presence at the Indiana State Fair, she also will help with marketing, writing assignments, event photography and videography.
This is Meyer’s second summer to intern with Indiana Farm Bureau. In 2016, she interned with the organizational development team.
Jimmy Pryor
This summer, Pryor is working with INFB’s accounting team. A resident of Franklin, Pryor is in his third year as an accounting student at the University of Indianapolis.
He hopes to work for a CPA firm when he completes his degree.
He will assist the accounting department with county and district finances, which includes keeping their accounts up to date, as well as delivering them to each county or district. He also will help with invoice billing and maintaining inventory accuracy for promotional items.
