Indiana Farm Bureau’s Agriculture in the Classroom program is hosting its annual volunteer update and teacher workshop on June 9 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
The workshop/update is an annual event for volunteers, teachers and the general public wishing to learn different ways to educate kids about agriculture. Attendees will receive an Ag in the Classroom tote filled with ready-to-use activities, games and lessons.
Attendees also will be treated to an ag-themed tour of the fairgrounds, interactive activities and technology demonstrations throughout the day.
Registration for the Ag in the Classroom volunteer update and teacher workshop is open until June 2. The first 150 registrants will receive a copy of the 2017 INFB Book of the Year, The Kid Who Changed the World by New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews.
