Growth Energy submitted comments today on the EPA’s proposed biofuels fix calling for the agency to “deliver a real fix.”
Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor, in her formal comments, said
regulators must fully account for biofuel demand lost to oil industry
exemptions in the final biofuel 2020 targets.
She says the EPA must uphold President Trump’s commitment to
farmers, calling the agency’s proposed supplemental rule flawed.
Growth Energy says EPA regulators should account for a rolling average of actual exempted volumes from the three most recently completed compliance years and offers details on how to do that.
