A Federal Court of Appeals heard from Idaho prosecutors Wednesday who say there is a gap between the USDA approving industrial hemp in the 2018 Farm Bill and providing movement regulations between states.
“This product cannot, in Idaho’s view pass through Idaho, right?” “At this moment in time, until the subtitle G regulations are in place, correct.”
Prosecutors argued Big Sky Scientific, a Colorado-based CBD
distributor, acted too soon after the farm bill was approved and didn’t reach
out to officials before transporting hemp through Idaho where it’s still illegal.
