The Farm Futures planting intentions survey for 2020 shows a 4-and-a-half-percent increase in corn acreage, compared to the USDA’s latest estimates. But, the survey was completed one week before the USDA’s August 12th report that sent prices sharply lower.
Farm Futures survey sees
soybean and sorghum acreage both up 9% and cotton down nearly 9%.
Spring wheat and durum acres
are seen at about six-percent lower next year.
