Another round of trade talks between the U.S. and China continues
today in Beijing.
Cabinet-level talks will begin Thursday when U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnunchin meet with China’s Vice Premier.
Trade officials have until the self-imposed deadline of
March 1st to come to an agreement. President Trump has said he will
raise tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods from 10 to 25 percent if a deal
isn’t reached.
