A seed dealer says there are still quite a few farmers making seed decisions now, in late March.
Chad Staudinger with Dairyland Seed Company tells Brownfield he sees more opportunity to pick up seed sales during the farm show. “This year, there’s probably more indecision in the marketplace than we’ve seen in years past, I would say due to the economy and the late fall, late harvest season last year.”
And, Staudinger says he definitely sees a trend towards more soybean acres.
