The location of a new cheese and whey processing plant in Michigan is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
John Dardis with Glanbia tells Brownfield the official site of their new the $400 million facility will be finalized soon. In a previous interview, Dardis had said central Michigan is a possibility, near Michigan’s cows and adequate infrastructure. The plant will process eight million pounds of milk per day and is expected to be completed in 2020.
